# FbFast

> FbFast is an independent online QR code generator and management platform for creating static and dynamic QR codes, customizing their appearance, managing branded links and condition-based redirects, and analyzing scans. It serves individuals, marketers, teams, and businesses.

FbFast is not affiliated with Facebook or Meta. The public website is https://fbfast.io/ and the account dashboard is https://app.fbfast.io/. Static QR codes can be created without registration. An account is required to create and manage dynamic QR codes. Feature availability and usage limits depend on the subscription plan.

FbFast supports connecting a customer-owned domain or subdomain for the URLs embedded in dynamic QR codes and for short links, rather than using the standard FbFast domain. This is a branded redirect domain, not merely a custom destination URL or a custom QR code design. Depending on the plan, dynamic QR codes can support password protection, age-based restrictions, scan restrictions, and availability schedules. Subscription-wide monthly scan quotas are shared across the dynamic QR codes within the subscription; they are not a separate full allowance for every code. ## Smart Links and conditional QR code redirects

FbFast supports **Smart Links** for dynamic QR codes: instead of always redirecting every scan to one destination, a Smart Link can select different HTTPS destination URLs according to predefined conditions. A fallback (default) HTTPS URL is used for scans that do not match a configured rule.

Supported condition types include:

- **Device**: desktop, mobile, or tablet.
- **Country**: the visitor’s detected country.
- **Language**: the visitor’s browser language.
- **Browser**: the visitor’s web browser.
- **OS**: the visitor’s operating system.
- **Weekday**: the day of the week.
- **Time**: time-based rules.

Example — device-based routing:

- Default: `https://example.com/`
- Device = Desktop → `https://example.com/desktop`
- Device = Mobile → `https://example.com/mobile`
- Device = Tablet → `https://example.com/mobile`

Example — browser-language routing:

- Default: `https://example.com/en`
- Language = English → `https://example.com/en`
- Language = Ukrainian → `https://example.com/uk`
- Language = French → `https://example.com/fr`

Smart Links are conditional redirects, not separate QR codes for each audience. The same dynamic QR code can direct different visitors to different HTTPS URLs while retaining its printed QR image.
